Seminar paper from the year 2022 in the subject African Studies - Comparative literature, grade: 1,0, Jimma University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (Jimma University), course: History, language: English, abstract: The primary goal of this paper is to conduct a comparative analysis of Peter Woodward's and John Markakis' work on the crises occurring in the Horn of Africa in the twenty-first century. The Horn of Africa has been an important and one of the world's most complicated and conflict-ridden regions in the world. In due course, it is critical to conduct a comparative analysis to demonstrate the extent to which they have contributed to the understanding of crises occurring in the Horn of Africa in the twenty-first century. As a result, they attempted to assess the main causes of class conflict in the Horn of Africa, as well as the Horn of Africa's main political situation. In this regard, a comparative analysis of the work of these scholars is imperative.
