His commitment extended beyond the classroom, working tirelessly to strengthen the bonds between the police department and the younger members of his community. In the realm of law enforcement, Michael's accomplishments were numerous. He oversaw critical areas like Megan's Law and the Domestic Violence Response Team and was a member of the Mercer County Special Investigation Unit, specializing in narcotics and gun investigations. His passion for educating extended to Ewing Township's beloved pre-kindergarten program, "Safety Town," and the Ewing Police Youth Academy, where he mentored young community members. Michael's dedication to public service didn't go unnoticed, as he received numerous accolades, including the Ewing Police Medal of Honor, NJ State PBA Unit Citation Award, and the prestigious Carnegie Medal of Honor.
