Produktbeschreibung
The complexity of life, the complexity of its fields, and the abundance of its sciences have led to increased awareness of the fact that simply understanding the written page does not represent maturity in reading on the other hand. Rather, it means increasing the need for critical reading and a sense of its effective role in the reader's life. A good reader is not only one who is able to read, but also one who knows how to use what he reads. On this basis, teaching critical reading was considered one of the main goals that many schools in the developed countries of the world seek to achieve. Critical reading is a type of critical thinking, and more specifically, it is critical thinking applied to the written page. Critical reading does not appear and grow automatically as a result of the learner's development in reading skills, but rather appears inherent in critical thinking. It grows through organized training, which can be started during the first grades of primary school, by evaluating the children for the accuracy of the pictures presented in their books and their suitability to the content, and encouraging them to make simple comments to judge the value of the material being read and comparing it to their expertise and experiences to determine the extent of its realism and truthfulness.
