This book describes the detailed electrochemical terms and concepts engaged in the electrochemical reactions at the electrodes in electrochemical cells. Various types of electrode processes to display the electrochemical main features are concentrated. The basic electroanalytical cell systems and their practical electroanalysis are discussed simply. The book provides readers with a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of electrode reactions and the principles of electrochemical methods. The application of electroanalytical methods to chemical systems is the main prominence while the basic principles of electrochemistry are also discussed.

Moreover, I am pretty sure that this book will improve the confidence of young researchers and students to think and remember electroanalytical concepts.

Autorenporträt
Dr. Govindhan Maduraiveeran is a Research Associate Professor of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. He received his M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He has earned his post-doctoral research experiences at The Ohio State University, Columbus, USA (2011-2013), and Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Canada (2013-2017).

His research interests span the areas of "electrochemistry, materials chemistry, electrochemical sensors/biosensors, and electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems."

He has authored over 87 international peer-reviewed journal articles, six-book chapters, two- book, and holds three- patents. He is also a recipient of the "Emerging Scientist Award" of Lakehead University, Canada in 2014 and "The Best Researcher Award" of SRM IST in 2021 & 2022.
