The sisters would have to combine their magic with Carmine's or Em wouldn't survive.

Sapphire knew instantly that Dana was her mate and she wasn't thrilled about it either. She and her sisters had been around for thousands of years, why did a mate have to muddy the waters now?

Dana wanted to take it slow. They had the rest of their lives to get to know each other. He wanted to court her and ease into the relationship.
