James Torrens is a Jesuit priest based in the diocese of Fresno, California. He engages in spiritual direction and Hispanic pastoral ministry. He has been a long-time faculty member at Santa Clara University, an editor at America, the national Jesuit magazine, and a spiritual director at the House of Prayer for Priests in Los Angeles.
