He is author of Scraps ofthe Untainted Sky: Science Fiction, Utopia, Dystopia and Demand the Impossible: Science Fiction and the Utopian Imagination (Routledge), and coeditor of Not Yet:Reconsidering Ernst Bloch. Raffaella Baccolini is Associate Professor of English at the University of Bologna.
