Pirate Captain Mintea crash lands on planet in the middle of a deadly antimatter ion storm, and finds herself on ocean world pursued by the only other survivor, Maximus, her evil helmsman who is intent on revenge for taking them into the storm in the first place.
Along the way she finds Gulliver type islands, of tiny people and giants, as well as a vortex where reality is skewed by the writers that live there. After escaping the vortex Mintea sails toward a distant port where she hopes to find a passage home by way of subspace.
By the time Mintea finds her way to that port, Maximus has taken control of the Behemoth, a huge gun-ship that he hopes to use to destroy Mintea and the port where she is hiding.

Autorenporträt

Neil grew up in Smithfield, Utah, and currently holds a General Class license amateur radio license. He was a material handler for over 10 years while obtaining a BA from Utah State University. He has been a freelance writer for most of that time and has been published in a variety of magazines over the years.

Neil worked for Utah State University for twelve years with the Junior Engineering program. He enjoys writing, Frisbee (disc) golf and bonfires. He is the father of five children and lives in Logan Utah.
