Today, "further achievement" can only be accomplished through education. Nevertheless, the "Matthew Effect" prevails within the education sector: he who has, is given to; he who is already educated anyways, educates himself further and vice versa. "Outreaching further education guidance" is intended to actively target educationally underprivileged and disadvantaged groups, whilst opening doors to them that allow for more educational participation and equity. Can this be successful? This study examines the still nascent format of "outreaching education guidance," that has yet to be explored in-depth. As well as empirically evaluating three model projects, the study also presents us with other scientific insights.
