This particular short story relives the story of a young father with little access to his first and only daughter. He is crazy about his daughter despite the relationship difficulties that have kept him apart from the baby mother. In what is a fun-filled journey into his life, we get to see how emotional and important it is for him to be part of his daughter's world. The big question left to us is, how does this distant relationship between father and child affect both of them; will the union be a happy one or will it be a case of strangers obliged to know each other?

Autorenporträt

Mwanangwa Zombe is an Economist and poet living in Solwezi. He has been into writing since 2008 when he wrote his first poem and has yet to put down the pen. Some of his popular poetry works are Dear Black Girl and Hello Africa. His works have gone as far as getting recognition from the Zambian Republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, one time African Footballer of the Year, Kalusha Bwalya and Zambian Ambassador to Ethiopia.

Mwanangwa recently made his attempts in short stories with his first being, 'Life in a Dead Body', and this as he two public publications.

He is currently working in Solwezi as an Operations Supervisor for SIS Inspections where he has worked for 4 years.
