Then the mistress is dropped like a hot potato.

The author explains, side-by-side with his own narrative, the many studies illustrating the very real concerns and dangers a mistress faces when involved in a love triangle, and thus provides thought-provoking and very useful tools for analyzing a mistresses' own involvement and thus solutions for getting out of a toxic, troubling, and restrictive 'relationship'.
