Autorenporträt

Born in 1961 Owen McCafferty lives with his wife and three children in Belfast. His work includes Shoot the Crow (Druid Galway 1997; Royal Exchange Manchester 2003); Mojo Mickybo (Kabosh Belfast 1998); Closing Time (National Theatre London 2002); and Scenes from the Big Picture (National Theatre London 2003). All of these plays are published by Nick Hern Books including Cold Comfort which appears in an anthology of one-man plays Singular (male) Voices. He has won the Meyer-Whitworth the John Whiting and the Evening Standard Awards for New Playwriting
