Autorenporträt

Laraine Birnie is a retired PhD clinical psychologist who has written two previous books, "Counselling the Abused Christian Woman" for lay counsellors and "The Adventures of A, B, and C ", a children's early reader book. She is the mother of two daughters, Sarah and Carolyn (both psychologists) and five grandchildren (Owen, Miles, Mira, Nathan and Noelle). She has taught university, lectured at a Divinity school, and been a consultant to various Christian ministries. She lives in Ottawa where she co-leads a women's bible study and provides Christian counselling to emotionally abused women. Additional information is found on her website at drlarainebirnie.ca
