Connor is accused of selling drugs and is offered an Article 32, Military grand jury. The story is from the point of view of Connor, the protagonist. Other main characters are the Catholic Chaplain, and the Marine Gunnery Sergeant.

Raymond's military career has given him the opportunity to travel and meet people from many different places, with almost as many cultures. We are unaware that children are being sold.
