Christopher St. John Sprigg (1907-1937) was a British author, journalist, and poet, who also wrote under the pen name Christopher Caudwell. Despite his early death at the age of 29 during the Spanish Civil War, Sprigg left behind a unique literary footprint, particularly in the genre of detective fiction.
