Universities have been subjected to continuous government reforms since the 1980s, to make them 'entrepreneurial', 'efficient' and aligned to the predicted needs and challenges of a global knowledge economy. Susan Wright spent most of her growing up years in Orlando, Florida. In 1988 while serving overseas on a mission project, she met her 'Mr. Right', who happened to be a charming Aussie. She then became Mrs. Wright, moved down under and now has four adult children. Susan is a professional teacher, with a B.S.Ed from Auburn University (USA) and a Master of Education from The University of Queensland (Australia). For most of her week, she is a faith educator in schools and church, however, in 2016 she began an online YouTube channel (Wright Ideas with Susan) where she teaches and supports parents, volunteers and educators all over the world. Her website also provides downloadable teaching resources that are simple and easy to use. Recently, Susan has ventured into writing and publishing children's books. It is her desire that her books and resources will be useful and enjoyed by countless children, teachers and families.
