About the author

My name is Eva Jean Mejia. When I was about 10 my mom would call out to my siblings and me, to come inside the house whenever a special would come on TV. Usually Cinderella, Wizard of OZ, Ben Hur, Hercules, or Sinbad. However, when Jason and the Argonauts came out, I was hooked on Fantasy. Later it was the Odyssey. Then there was Excalibur! Author and his Knights of the Round Table. I was ecstatic with pure fantastic imagination!

I began writing poetry....many, many years later 911 struck...I wrote, 'Saga of Americans.' I knew then I wanted to write a fantasy and have a book to show for all my hard work. Never did I know...this journey would grow into something spectacular with my kiddos then, just 5 and 7, Ysabel and Michael. Before that, I loved drawing with watercolors. I drew Bambi and Thumper on my daughter Mona and Ellies' wall in their bedroom.

I now have watched just about all the fantasy Knight and Sword movies there are to watch. The Gods of Egypt, The Immortals, Who can forget Talos, in Jason and the Argonauts..... and the Dragon in Game of Thrones. I am hooked!

I'll get better in my writing skills and truly deliver to my audience. I love writing, drawing, singing karaoke, sewing, designing my boot dresses, and just enjoying my family and grandkids.

I am retired and single. Did I mention I have all my bike Leathers and boots... I am so happy to be here.
