Althea L. McMillan grew up in a small village on Cat Island in the Bahamas. Her book was inspired by "a nursing class that I taught many years ago, and a student who returned to campus and demonstrated much love to me to show his gratitude." This is her first published book. Her next book is Life Lessons from the Book of Esther.
