SUSAN DAVIS has worked as a library assistant, dinnerlady, museum guide, tourist information assistant and amateur astrologer. The author of many short stories for adults, which have been published widely in magazines and broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and the winner of the West Midlands Arts Literature Award in l998, two competitions for new writing run by Mslexia magazine, and the recipient of an Arts Council Award for her work THE HENRY GAME. She lives in Shropshire and has two grown-up children and one grandson.
