Many blamed it on the humans, but it was us. Those who lost their ability seemed to fade into the human world after that. The worst part was I was starting to do just that. Lose my powers to change. I could feel myself drain whenever I turned now. There was just one thing that could save me now. I would have to mate. In order to stay the way I was. The way I had been born, I would have to give myself completely and wholly to a man and give up my freedom. The one thing that made me who I was.
