John Cox directs the Center for Holocaust, Genocide & Human Rights Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. Cox's latest book is To Kill a People: Genocide in the Twentieth Century (2017) and he has written widely on racism, genocide and resistance. Amal Khoury is Senior Lecturer of Global Studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. Her research focuses on peacebuilding and post-conflict reconciliation and her recent publications include "Bridging Elite and Grassroots Initiatives: The Road to Sustainable Peace in Syria" in Post-Conflict Power-Sharing Agreements: Options For Syria (2018). Sarah Minslow is an Assistant Professor of English at California State University, Los Angeles, USA. She specializes in human-rights education, war and genocide in children's literature, and refugee narratives. Her recent publications include "Coping with Killing? Child Soldier Narratives and Traces of Trauma" in Childhood Traumas: Narratives and Representations (2019).
