Autorenporträt

Alexander is a Canadian, residing in Toronto. His debut novel Depth of Deception (A Titanic Murder Mystery) was published in March 2012 to coincide with the centennial anniversary of Titanic. It has been awarded 'Finalist' for E-Book: Mystery/Thriller/Adventure (2012 International Book Awards) as well as Best New E-Book: Fiction category (USA Best Book Awards 2012). Alexander is currently finishing up his next novel, LUTETIA (Darkness Beneath the City of Light) a historical thriller featuring a young Victor Hugo and his journey into the dark underworld of Paris and exposure to those he later referred to as 'Les Mis¿bles'. Because he has so much time on his hands he decided to create a continuing on-line novelization Dracula sequel at www.undead-series.com. Alexander has also written and directed several short films which have won awards in festivals around the world, including WorldFest Houston's Silver Remi (Suspense-Thriller) for The Missing Piece, a Bronze Remi (Horror/Fantasy) for his vampire short First Light and his comedic spoof Star Wars: Blasted Behavior won Best Foreign Sci-Fi Short at the New York International Film Festival and was a Finalist in the Atom/Lucas Film Star Wars Fan Film Competition Alexander's love of historical details can also be seen in some of the stage productions he has directed, such as the silent film era of "Singin' in the Rain" (Act-Co Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement in Live Theatre), a 50-year span in "Love Letters" and the World War II Amsterdam annex for "The Diary of Anne Frank".
