Produktbeschreibung
Design thinking works for any organization, regardless of its size, profile or scope

of activity. Computers, children's incubators, transport services and project

management applications have all been designed using design thinking approaches.

Implementing design thinking in an organization and embedding the rules of this

approach is a complex task. For this process to run smoothly and for employees to

know their roles and goals, various methods are used to support design thinking.

One such method is the DTMethod, to which this manual is devoted.

The DTMethod (design thinking method) is a description of actions that an organization

should take to increase the likelihood of success in the design process. In other words, it

is a guide to design thinking.

The DTMethod is built on a foundation of three elements: knowledge, case studies and

experience. There is scientific evidence behind the DTMethod. The study conducted

with scientists (Dukala et al., in press) confirms that teams who work with the

DTMethod create solutions that are more original, more valuable for business and more

useful, and have a higher impact on the challenge than the teams who work with other

methods (including brainstorming and other collaborative modes). The effectiveness of

the DTMethod is also confirmed by many years of practice. The three elements come

together to yield the proven rule set that is the DTMethod.

Autorenporträt
As lead author of the DTMethod, Rafal is a psychologist, trainer, designer and consultant. He has spent countless hours helping design thinking teams to find solutions. Not only has he created development programs, motivational systems, business simulations and training games, but he has also supported organizational changes as a trainer and consultant. He is convinced of the superiority of evidence-based approaches over intuitive actions, and strongly believes that design thinking is currently the only approach that will help people to find the best solutions to different challenges.
