Mircea Iosif Murariu was born in Communist Romania. After his escape, he visited forty-five states in the United States as well as Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Mexico and lived in Nagoya and Japan. Murariu currently lives in Tucson, Arizona
