Autorenporträt

William Boyd was born in Accra, Ghana, in 1952. He is the author of one previous collection of stories and six novels. His two most recent novels are Brazzaville Beach (which won the 1990 James Tait Black Memorial Prize and the McVitie Award) and The Blue Afternoon (which won the 1993 Sunday Express Book of the Year Award). He is married and lives in London.
