Autorenporträt

David Rece is a retired financial executive who lives in Schertz, Texas. He and his wife Jan have been married for more than twenty years, and their two families together have five children, twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

David completed the General Bible Course from Liberty University, has a BBA in Accounting from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and graduated with distinction from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.

David has taught Bible classes almost continuously for the past twenty years. He and Jan have hosted Bible Study classes in their home, often twice a week, ever since David retired in 2005, and at present are still teaching home Bible classes two nights each week. David also teaches a Men's Bible Study at his local church. David writes the class notes that are used as a textbook in the Bible studies, and continues to prepare a brief weekly bulletin for his classes with the objective of raising the level of interest in the Bible by his students. In each weekly issue, David includes a "Did You Know?" episode, from which the stories in this book are developed.
