This book is a translation of the original German 2nd edition Schwierige Menschen am Arbeitsplat by Heidrun Schüler-Lubienetzki and Ulf Lubienetzki, published by Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature in 2017. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. Springer Nature works continuously to further the development of tools for the production of books and on the related technologies to support the authors.

The Authors
Graduate psychologist Heidrun Schüler-Lubienetzki and graduate engineer Ulf Lubienetzki work as coaches, trainers and consultants with a wide variety of companies and organizations. An important part of their work is to develop action strategies for dealing with toxic people together with those affected. In more than two decades, Heidrun Schüler-Lubienetzki has worked with several thousand professionals and managers. Ulf Lubienetzki has been working as a management consultant since 1998 and has many years of experience as a manager as well as the personnel manager of a consulting company.
This book is a translation of an original German edition. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com).
