Meike Schalk is an associate professor in urban design and urban theory at KTH School of Architecture in Stockholm. She is currently also an Anna Boyksen Fellow at Technische Universität München. Her research in architecture focuses on welfare spaces in the Nordic countries and Vienna as well as on feminist theory and practices. Andreas Putz is an assistant professor in recent building heritage conservation at Technische Universität München. He studied architecture at TU Dresden, The University of Edinburgh and ETH Zürich where he completed his doctoral thesis in 2015. For his thesis dissertation »Der Bestand der Stadt. Leitbilder und Praktiken der Erhaltung. Zürich 1930-1970« he received the 2016 Theodor Fischer Award. Tijana Stevanovic is a lecturer at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London and a post doctoral fellow at KTH School of Architecture in Stockholm. She completed her doctoral thesis »Incorporating Self-management: Architectural Production in New Belgrade« at Newcastle University in 2019. Her research is situated at the intersection of architectural history, critical theory, and cultural studies, focusing on questions of labor, technology, subjectivity, and knowledge production.
