Robert D. Hughes (Bob) is the author of the novel, Dirty Money, the second book in the Brian and Darcy McKay series of thrillers. The first book, Bone Mountain, is a popular and critical success. He has also written numerous short mystery stories appearing in the anthologies, Death in a Box, Death and a Cup of Tea, Death and the Detective, Fedora and Fedora II, as well as in many magazines, including P. I., Montana Magazine, Montana Journal, Western Digest and others. Dirty Money is now available in both paperback and e-book editions at Amazon.com and in paperback at Barnesandnoble.com and Indiebound.org. He is currently working on the third novel in the McKay series and a collection of short stories featuring hard-boiled Chicago private detective Dennis Malone. Bob grew up near Detroit and earned a Masters degree from the University of Michigan. As a financial professional in Chicago, he investigated white-collar crime, bringing several embezzlers to justice. He is an avid reader of mysteries and thrillers, with special affinity for the works of Lee Child, Michael Connelly and John Sandford.
