Have you heard of the ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes of Sinope? He was a wise man, lived in a barrel, urinated on people he didn't like, and he was very fond of dogs. He - allegedly - also told Alexander the Great to go beat it. If that doesn't suffice to pique your interest, then I can't help you, and this might not be a good read for you. This book is written as an ode to the admirable spirit of one of earth's finest human beings. You won't be smarter after reading it, you won't be better suited to understand the world's problems. You might not even be entertained. That said, why don't you just give it a try? Sit back, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
