Amy Nitza, PhD, is the Director of the Institute for Disaster Mental Health at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Karla Vermeulen, PhD, is the Deputy Director of the Institute for Disaster Mental Health and an Associate Professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz. She is co-author of Disaster Mental Health Interventions: Core Principles and Practices.
