Inhaltsangabe:Abstract: In this paper these approaches will be discussed in the light of the Brazilian development trying to encounter contagion and systemic imbalances in its economic structure. Brazil as the biggest country, geographically and economically, is the most important country to be supervised and strengthened to prevent financial turmoil in Latin America. The chapters IV. 1. and IV.2. will discuss in detail implemented policies and adjusted financial infrastructures to forestall a deep crisis situation and analyze the means to encounter and restructure economical-financial deficits in the infrastructure of Brazil. Chapter IV.3. will discuss policies and institutional arrangements improving crisis management on a more general level with regard to the Latin American emerging markets. In all, this work will give a short overview on recent developments and difficulties lying ahead in strengthening the international financial architecture with reference to emerging market developments.
