The author of this book, Father Henry Laminnis Al -Jesoui, aims to make the names of places in Lebanon evidence to reveal the historical geography of Lebanon in ancient time. This helps to know the effects of peoples who have followed the places of research, and we can also know the systems, worship and benefits of peoples. And what the author has reached his knowledge of the names of places and monuments, overcoming the Syriac and Arabic languages ¿¿on them. He has inferred the Arabic designations on the modernity of the era of housing and homes, in contrast to the Aramaic designations that preceded Arabic in entering Lebanon and finally concluded the inability and shortcomings of languages ¿¿to influence the nomination of Lebanese places.
