Autorenporträt
Casie Ballard is a Christ-follower, wife, mother, and small town girl from Arkansas. She is a woman of high character and respected by many. After high school, she left and went off to college at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. It was here that she was challenged to pursue her dream of publishing a book. It was also here that she found a new passion for changing lives. She is married to Kaleb, a man whose support has influenced the publication of her work. They met the summer before college and decided to try long distance. It didn't take much time for Kaleb to transfer to the University of the Ozarks and they married the summer before Casie's senior year. They enjoy exploring new coffee shops, getting outdoors, and pursuing each other and their own relationships with Christ together. A high school summer, many years ago, Casie was blessed to have the opportunity to travel through an European Excursion. That sparked a huge passion and love for travel. Luckily, Kaleb has joined the United States Air Force and given Casie a reason to travel for the rest of her life. Bouncing around so much will allow their family to not find home at a specific location, and instead they will find their home in the love that they all show each other. They are their own home. Family is one of the most important aspects of her life. Growing up in a relatively small family she grasped onto those relationships with all she has. Marrying into a much larger family, she quickly learned how to extend her heart to many many people. Now, her and her husband, Kaleb, are growing a family on their own with the addition of one little boy for now. As a writer, Casie has always loved to have a pencil in her hand and just let it take her wherever her thoughts would allow. From poetry to short stories to now a book length work about her life, writing has always been at the forefront of her life. It is a passion that she cannot and does not want to run away from.
