God must be given well-deserved thanks for protecting and sustaining me throughout my existence. From what I heard, my birth in a small country village in Erin, Trinidad, was a miracle. I was told that there were complications, and I was given the name Grell, in deference to a Dr. Grell, who was instrumental in my safe delivery.

My Christian parents made great sacrifices to have us educated in a Christian environment. They left Erin and set up a home in Maracas Valley, in North Trinidad, where we had the benefit of living near Christian institutions.

My first degree, a B.A. (General Hons.) in History and Spanish, was earned at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad. For my Master's degree, my immediate family emigrated to the U.S.A., and I studied at Florida Atlantic University. I did my Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

I currently teach as I have been doing for most of my adult life, having taught in Trinidad, St Croix, New Jersey, New York, and Florida. I did my Chaplaincy training at the International Chaplaincy Association in South Florida, and I also work as an assistant pastor in two different churches.

My goal is to help spread the gospel through a T.V. ministry. I am seeking the Lord to use me with Divine interventions to help bring relief to the sick, cast out demons, and effect the opening of sight to the blind.

Dr. Grell Ferdinand is an accomplished author, educator, and pastor whose life story is both inspiring and transformative. Born in Erin, Trinidad, to hardworking farming parents with strong Christian values, Dr. Ferdinand's early life was marked by determination and a passion for learning. As a child, he endured a four-hour bus ride to high school-a journey that introduced him to a literary club where he learned the art of writing and public presentation by reading, summarizing, and discussing books.After relocating to Maracas Valley, he completed his secondary education at a Christian school, setting the stage for his future in teaching. Dr. Ferdinand began his career at Southern Academy and later taught at Guapo Government School and Saint Joseph School. Even while dedicating himself to educating young minds, he pursued higher education, earning a bachelor's degree in Spanish and History from the University of the West Indies.His academic journey took him to the United States, where he obtained a master's degree in Education in Florida and later a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova University. With these achievements, Dr. Ferdinand transitioned into writing, authoring several impactful books such as Do You Know Who You Are?, God Is Our Refuge and Strength, and Nobody Else Could Give a Better Deal. He is currently working on his fourth book, God's Inestimable Value of the Human Soul.Now retired from teaching, Dr. Ferdinand serves as a pastor, passionately spreading the message of faith and hope. His rich background in education, leadership, and spiritual guidance continues to inspire others through both his written work and his dedicated service to the community.
