Produktbeschreibung
Have you ever suspected that some mothers SECRETLY hate being mothers? Well, suspect no more because thousands of mothers actually do hate being mothers. Apparently, motherhood has an ugly and unpleasant side that thousands of mothers want you to know about PRIOR to making the life-altering decision to become a mother, stepmother, adoptive mother, foster mother, legal guardian, etc.

Not all women should become mothers. Some women should become wonderful mothers or super moms, while other women should become child-free awesome aunts, child-free mediocre-at-best aunts, or child-free keep-your-annoying-kids-away-from-me aunts. It is what it is and we are who we are. There's a reason there are almost half a million children in foster care in the U.S. alone; motherhood is not all it's cracked up to be.

Autorenporträt
Selena Brown is a happy-go-lucky, free-spirited sista who joined the Army in 1984 at the age of 17 while she was still a senior in high school. 21 years later, in 2005, she retired as a Sergeant First Class (SFC)/E-7 at the age of 39.

She currently enjoys every minute of her military retirement by reading, writing free e-books, volunteering, mentoring, tutoring (algebra), mastering the fine art of doing something close to nothing, watching cartoons and reruns of Scrubs (best TV show ever!), spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, cruising, visiting animal sanctuaries, running, hiking, playing tennis and badminton, and singing (horribly and off-key) on 30-day road trips.

Her 3 Simple Rules For a Happier Life:

Rule #1: Misery dipped in chocolate is still misery.

Rule #2: Don't spend money you don't have, to buy things you don't need, to impress people you don't like.

Rule #3: Having money doesn't make you happy; having enough money is what truly makes you happy.
