"The Story of Rags" is about a dog who had the best of all worlds. She found her Person, her family, her home, at the beginning, when she was a puppy. Her story is about how she navigated the hills and valleys of life, how she early on found the secret to gaining wisdom. Wisdom is what elevated her life and brought her joy, as well as an understanding of the world and of the soul of her Person.

Autorenporträt
Anne-Marie Cadwallader was born and grew up in Manila, Philippines; her mother was Spanish, her father an American from Texas. Anne-Marie attended college at the University of Oregon and at the University of Southern California. She has lived in Los Angeles and in the Dallas, Texas area, until moving recently to Naples, Florida to enjoy semi-retirement. Anne-Marie writes poetry and children's books, as well as short stories. She enjoys the abundance of nature, the beauty of the beach and preserves in Naples, and most especially the weather in this beach town. Anne-Marie and her husband Bill have, between them, six children and three grandchildren. Her family members also include two dogs and one cat, and numerous grandcats.
