Deb Eldredge, DVM, is a graduate of Cornell and winner of the Gentle Doctor Award for best client care. She is an award-winning writer, author of 10 pet books, and past president of the Dog Writers Association of America. Her dogs have competed successfully in many dog sports and won trick contests.

Kate Eldredge grew up training and showing dogs, so writing about them was inevitable. She has competed in a variety of dog sports with her dogs and likes to use tricks to keep them alert and motivated.
