Autorenporträt
My name is Anthony Rowe. As a fan of fantasy novels since the age of twelve, I have always dreamed of creating my own book. Growing up, I was very good at English, especially writing essays. When I was thirteen years old, my cousin and I attempted to write our own cartoon. I don't remember the name of that cartoon. We were very excited; we had over fifty characters and over a hundred pages written. However, obstacles took our life toward a different path around that time. Over time, I kept writing, but instead of music, I was writing lyrics, rap lyrics, R&B lyrics, and reggae lyrics. I used to battle people every day in high school. Music became my main focus after a bunch of moving around from city to city. In 2008, I got incarcerated for a weapon and drug charge. I did fourteen months. In 2009, I wrote my first ever anime called Redemption, an adult-like cartoon I hope to put out in the near future. In 2010, after receiving a lawsuit, from a lawsuit of an illegal search and seizure of my house in the 2008 crime, I was incarcerated for. I decided to write Dollah Sign based on a friend of mine named Dollah, who was a pimp in his own way. The book itself was very exciting to write. The first idea was to make it into a movie. I decided however that I would write it as a book. And as long as I got positive feedback from the people as a community, I would then pursue movie options with my book. My goal as an author is to create a visual adventure for all of my readers' minds. I've been through a lot in my life. I was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and came to America at ten years old. I'm a fan of music from every genre. I love comedy and action movies. I do hip-hop, reggae, and I write books.
