Autorenporträt

Adele Bibb Colvin is a songwriter and lyricist whose work has been published in songbooks and used in the worship services of all denominations. Colvin received a BA in philosophy from Vanderbilt University and is an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Birmingham, where she also is a member of the Junior League and a literacy program tutor. Colvin has three adult children and seven grandchildren and lives with her husband in Birmingham, Alabama. Peyton Hamilton Carmichael is an artist and poet whose artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout the Southeast and New York. Carmichael graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Alabama and was the recipient of the Silver Bowl Award for Literature at the 1985 Birmingham Festival of Arts. This is her second collaboration with Colvin, having previously illustrated Pelican's The Donkeys' Tales, the inspired story of Jesus' childhood as told by a donkey. Carmichael lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband.
