Donny is 12 and Katie is 10. Their mother is sick and cannot look after them. They must fly half-way around the world, by themselves, in order to live with their uncle. This proves to be quite difficult because they are only kids and have only traveled with adults before.
It becomes more difficult when they miss flights, get locked out of their hotel room, lose their passports as well as get into trouble with the police.
Throughout their journey, they have many adventures and challenges. Donny and Katie learn how to help and support each other in every situation that they find themselves, and they find themselves in many strange, difficult and odd situations.

Autorenporträt

I was born in Cincinnati and grew up in the American Mid-West. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a Masters in Education from the University of Cincinnati.
I became a teacher and found a job teaching English and Film and Television at Trinity Bay State High School in Cairns, Australia.
As a teacher I wrote many One Act Plays that students enjoyed performing in. I became the Rugby coach at the school and began writing novels that my students could read, relate to and understand.
I decided to publish the novels under the name of Teen Friendly Books. At present I have 24 written and 15 published.
My plan is to write many more books for teens to read and enjoy.
