This collection isn't for the faint of heart. I go further into the dark parts of my soul, in order to bring further purpose to my own existence. Over 60 poems are placed into this book...
Poem # 1
And it's empty in my heart
She's tolerant of my darkness
Her emojis throughout the day
Mean something
~ Sakari
Poem # 2
The shadows spit me out
I'm in love again
It happened so fast
The darkness wants me back again
But she's been bringing me light
It's sunrise again
My barriers are coming down
Nothing is sun-proof, again
~ Sakari

Michael Wayne Noland Jr, better known for his pen name Sakari Lacross, was born February 5th, 1994 in Cleveland Ohio. Spending most of his childhood being raised in Flint Michigan, Michael's mother moved him and his family to Arizona when he was 15. Discovering all his true potential to write during his years he went to linden charter academy, Michael won his first local poetry contest at Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library, located in Avondale Arizona. Michael then published his first poetry collection, titled, PTSD.
