Autorenporträt
Eva Lubinger was born in Steyr, Upper-Austria. After attending grammar school, she studied German and art history in Innsbruck, where she has been living with her family for many years. She still likes to visit her old home town, though. The award-winning author and member of the Austrian PEN-club is a professed lover of animals, especially dogs. As an amateur gardener, her love of flowers and trees shows in her beautiful descriptions of nature, which are integral to all her writing. In her numerous books she displays a sense of humor which embraces and affirms life while always being firmly rooted in real life.
