Gabriele Herzl lebt in der Nähe von Salzburg, wo sie 1974 auch geboren wurde. Stets ein aktiver Mensch und auf der Suche nach neuen Herausforderungen verbrachte sie ihre Karriere, nach ihrer Ausbildung und der Betreuung ihrer mittlerweile erwachsenen Kinder, viele Jahre im sportlichen Umfeld: zunächst als Outdoor-Trainerin, Skilehrerin sowie Wanderführerin. Später startete sie als Verkäuferin und wurde bald für einige Jahre Geschäftsführerin im Sportartikelhandel. Sie widmet sich auch in ihrer Freizeit liebend gerne der sportlichen Betätigung in der Natur: Neben ihrer Leidenschaft fürs Wandern und Bergsteigen läuft sie und fährt auch Rad. In den letzten Jahren absolvierte sie auch einige Kurse im Bereich der Humanenergetik. Die Autorin, die sich als optimistisch, fantasievoll und leidenschaftlich bezeichnet, hat zeit ihres Lebens gerne gelesen und geschrieben. Ihre Passion fürs Schreiben mündet nunmehr in der Veröffentlichung ihres Erstlingswerks.
