Autorenporträt
Suzanne was brought up on a sheep farm in a rural area of Nelson, New Zealand. She spent much of her childhood helping her father with the many aspects of farm life, including mustering and long hours in the shearing shed. Many of the happenings in this book are influenced by her own history and the distinctive personalities of the significant people in her life.

As an early teen, she experienced the transforming power of Christ. This life-altering event created the strong spiritual undertone that flows through all of her writing.

Suzanne has a diploma in counseling and another in career guidance. She spent many years working with Maori youth who were struggling with life issues. She saw an amazing potential in these young people and writes this book in honor of them and their unique capabilities.
