Autorenporträt
Theda Yager earned a bachelor of general studies (BGS) degree from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii, and a master in education (MEd) degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.

She has been married to Colonel Donald Yager (USAF, retired) for sixty years. They have three married daughters, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren shared among four young couples.

Theda was an associate school psychologist/counselor. Her passion was working with children who had challenges with education, behavior, emotional needs, and physical limitations.

In their retirement years, Theda and Don were Mission Service Corps Missionaries with the North American Mission Board for approximately fifteen years. They also served in various organizations such as Disaster Relief, Victim Relief, and Austin Disaster Relief; and they served food to the homeless at a soup kitchen in Austin, Texas.

Church, family, and service to others have been the core of Theda's long life.
