Autorenporträt
Eugen Adelsmayr was born in 1959. He studied medicine in Vienna. He was an anaesthesiologist in intensive care units in Kitzbühel and Innsbruck. From 2006-2009 he was Department-Head of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Rashid Hospital Trauma Center in Dubai which treats over 120,000 casualty patients per year. Since 2009 he has been Chairman of Anaesthetics and Intensive Care at Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. He is widowed with two sons and currently lives in Bad Ischl in the province of Upper Austria.
