This report is intended to update the diagnostic medical community on a number of methods that can be used to test modern dynamic X-ray systems in a clinical setting. Once digital technologies were adopted by X-ray manufacturers, and applied to dynamic X-ray systems: the clinical use of these systems extended markedly. Unfortunately, the previous editions of report 32 contain a number of shortcomings that render some of the old tests ineffective because they could not account for digital techniques which have such a large impact clinically. This report aims to explain many of these short-comings and update tests in the hope that these will give the community a more robust method that can be tailored to the use that the system is intended.
