Ecology and Management of Blackbirds (Icteridae) in the United States will be the first book that integrates the ecology and management of blackbirds (Icteridae), an ecologically and economically important group of birds in North America. It will summarize and synthesize the wealth of information found in more than 1,000 disparate publication outlets (journals, conference proceedings, govt. reports, books) into a single volume for researchers, agriculture and wildlife managers, policy makers, and the general public. The book will focus on their roles in causing economically important crop damage and potential changes in damage levels and distribution as a result of climate change
