This book reviews the topic of economic and social life in Oman during an important period in the history of Oman, starting from the era of Imam Nasser bin Murshid al-Ya'rubi until the establishment of the Busaid state from 1034 AH/1624 AD to 1157 AH/1744 AD in an attempt through which we aspire to highlight the transformations that occurred in the aspects of economic and social life. During that period, and the accompanying circumstances that affected various aspects of life, we relied on the material available from many diverse sources, published and unpublished documents, in addition to Arab and foreign references.
